Dr Darshan Kaur
For over fifteen years, I have worked with individuals, couples and families navigating emotional struggle, trauma, relationships and change.

Over time, my work has become increasingly interested not only in symptom relief, but in the deeper patterns beneath suffering and the possibility of living with greater presence, clarity and connection.

I am, first and foremost, a real person. I am a wife, a daughter, a daughter-in-law, a mother of four. I have known loss. I have lived through the messy, turbulent, beautiful complexity of an ordinary life and I know from the inside that no amount of professional training prepares you for that.
I qualified as a clinical psychologist and spent years learning the evidence-based tools, the models, the frameworks. They were brilliant. But it was only when I really began to live, when life handed me its inevitable difficulties, that those tools started to become something deeper. They stopped being techniques and started becoming understanding.
Spirituality was part of that journey too. I grew up in a religious family, struggled with that identity, rejected it for a time, and then slowly, carefully, built it back into my life in a way that now genuinely sustains me. That path changed everything about how I work.
I am not a perfect person and I do not offer a perfect path. Life is messy. Turbulence is inevitable. What I have found, and what I try to offer, is a way of positioning ourselves so that we can navigate whatever life throws at us. Not perfectly. But with enough wisdom, clarity and peace to keep moving forward.
That is what I bring to this work. Lived experience alongside clinical expertise. A genuine belief that a more peaceful, grounded life is possible, because I have seen how deeply people can change.
